The
third edition of the Education Show, which was held at Expo Centre Sharjah
from November 12 to 15, 2007, had attracted a total of 15,340 visitors.
Among the categories of visitors to the event, besides students, were parents, student counselors, higher education policy makers, researchers, teachers, working professionals and executives, officials from local universities and agencies. The
2007 edition of the Education Show occupied a total of 4,000 sq. m.
and hosted more than 70 UAE-based and foreign institutions of higher
education that offered a range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and other
higher study A majority of the exhibitors at the 2007 edition of the Education Show were from UK, Malaysia, Germany, Oman, Russia, India, and the UAE. Besides individual participants, the Education Show also featured dedicated pavilions from India, Germany, and Russia. The Education Show, as a platform, undoubtedly promoted face to face interaction between the student community of the country and representatives of the participating educational institutes. |
